Turns out Ed Balls Day isn’t just every April 28. On Wednesday he proved he’s not just a Twitter pro, he’s also quite good in the kitchen too.
He appeared next to Chris Kamara, Kimberley Walsh from Girls Aloud and Victoria Coren Mitchell in the Great British Bake Off in aid of Sport Relief.
Obviously, Ed support tweets came rolling in.
He shone in the first round with football-themed cupcakes and impressed with his piping skills.
The show wasn’t without its hiccups for Ed, as he came last in the technical.
But he soon pulled it back in the showstopper with a ski jump cake.
Even though Ed missed out to Kimberley for the title of star baker, he was the star of our eyes.
