CANADIAN comedian Bobby Mair is heading to Bromsgrove’s Artrix as part of his first ever UK solo tour, Loudly Insecure.

The stand-up has proved a hit in the UK already after a sell-out, acclaimed run at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2017.

He’s become a well-known face on British television, too, appearing on 8 out of 10 Cats and Never Mind The Buzzcocks to name but a few.

Bobby’s tour charts his quest to search for his birth family after he was put up for adoption 30 years ago.

Saying his search has hit a couple of snags would be an understatement and he still has relatives out there who continue to allude him - except for one distant relative by the name of Justin Beiber

In Loudly Insecure, Bobby recalls the wildly dramatic twist and turns of his quest and the accidental broadening of his search for his next of kin.

He also shares a couple of other musings along the way, like his love of strangers, techniques to impress his personal trainer and if remembering virginity loss is inappropriate.

Bobby said: “After six years of calling the UK home, I'm finally doing my first solo stand up tour.

“It's a great show that I'm really proud of. If you’ve seen me and liked me in the past then come out.

“If you've hated me then come back too because as I know from being married for six months, the line between love and hate is very thin.”

The Canadian comedian has supported the likes of US comedians Bill Burr and Doug Stanhope on tour and also took time out to professionally troll Julian Assange, and go toe-toe with Katie Hopkins, garnering international press pick up and hundreds of thousands of YouTube hits.

Tickets to see Bobby Mair are £12.50 each. For tickets, visit artrix.co.uk/whats-on/comedy/ or call the box office on 01527 577330.
