PUPILS from St John’s School in Bromsgrove got the chance of a lifetime to ‘gunge’ a teacher on Friday, June 21 as part of their fundraising for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
The Rev Julie James, head of year six, bravely volunteered to be gunged with baked beans in front of eager onlookers.
Each year different year groups choose to support a particular charity and events take place throughout the school year to raise money for them.
