A COMMUNITY fun day, re-uniting former Austin workers, is being held this weekend.
There will be various activities at the event, being held at the Longbridge Public Art Project (LPAP) space at the former North Works site, near to the new Bournville College in Longbridge Lane.
The free event is being held on Saturday, August 2, from noon to 4pm.
The day includes collage and flag making, pattern making workshops, and sign making workshops.
A factory archive exhibition is also being launched, which has been curated by Sarah Nokes.
The archive features various extensive personal collections and documentation, collected over a number of years about Longbridge life, including archive material from former Austin workers John Baker and Keith Woodfield, and local Reverend Colin Corke.
