Marlbrook residents invited to village walkabout event

MARLBROOK residents can raise issues or concerns at a village walkabout event.

A Partners and Communities walkabout is being held outside Tesco, in Old Birmingham Road, Marlbrook, at 10.30am on Monday, September 22.

District councillor Brian Cooper for the ward and community support officer Sarah Harvey will be walking the streets and talking to residents.

Among the roads they will be walking are Old Birmingham Road, Braces Lane, and Birmingham Road and Halesowen Road.

Appointments can be booked during the walkabout be calling Cllr Cooper on 07711014820, or email b.cooper@bromsgrove.gov.uk.

I'm sure Cllr Cooper will explain why he and fellow ward Councillor Ruck voted against the proposal to set up an official inquiry into the Marlbrook Tip. Effectively letting fellow Tories and officers off the hook while residents living close to the tip still have unanswered questions.
