TICKETS are still available for an annual lecture featuring an illustrated talk on King Richard III.
The 29th Bromsgrove Lecture is being held from 7.30pm at Routh Hall at Bromsgrove School, in Worcester Road, on Tuesday, March 31.
This year's lecture is entitled His Glorious Majesty – King Richard III, a talk being given by local historian Ralph Richardson and illustrated by Julian Hunt.
The speaker is a former competitor on Mastermind and a past chairman of the Worcestershire Branch of the Richard III Society.
The illustrated talk includes details of the two prominent Worcestershire men who fought at the Battle of Bosworth in 1485, one being Humphrey Stafford of Grafton Manor.
It is the father and mother of Humphrey who are represented in St John’s Church, Bromsgrove and on who the legend titled The Jovial Hunter is based.
Tickets for the talk cost £6 and are available for Foto Factory in Bromsgrove High Street, close to the Post Office, or call 0121 445 5005 or 01527 877227.
