YOUNG entrepreneurs from a Bromsgrove school have been taking part in a nationwide challenge.
The students from Catshill Middle School participated in the National Enterprise Challenge on Tuesday, April 14.
The youngsters from the Meadow Road-based school were challenged to either design a new ultimate school bag for Ryman stationerys, or a new attraction for Alton Towers.
The school's winning team decided to design a school bag, and the school team could now move forward to the National finals at Alton Towers this July, where the best creative ideas are pitched to a Dragon's Den style panel including Theo Paphitis.
The competition was set up by Ben and Michael Dyer from Stoke On Trent.
Ben said: "It's vital that young people develop the skills they need for the world of work and the National Enterprise Challenge gives them the vehicle to do so.
"Enterprise to us, is a set of skills that will make students more employable and if that leads them down the path of entrepreneurship, even better.'
