A BROMSGROVE couple have been celebrating their relationship and raising money for a town-based hospice.
John Simmonds, a day hospice patient at the Primrose Hospice, and his partner Thelma Featherstone, expressed their commitment to each other with a blessing ceremony on Friday, April 24.
More than 60 guests attended the service at the St Godwald's Road-based hospice, which was led by chaplain Keith Judson.
During the event there was singing, a reading, and a buffet lunch served.
Webbs Garden Centre also donated a metal, rose-covered arch to be used during the election.
Money was raised by the couple asking for donations instead of presents.
