AUDIENCES are being invited to imagine the Forest of Arden has grown up inside St John’s Church next month, with a production of Shakespeare’s ‘As You Like It’.
The play is being staged as part of the Bromsgrove Festival on Friday, June 12, and formed part of a national tour for the Festival Players Theatre Company.
The same all-male company staged a production of ‘Macbeth’ at the church as part of last year’s festival, but it will be interesting to see how they tackle this pastoral romantic comedy, with original music by Johnny Coppin.
Tickets for the performance are £15 each, and are being sold through the Artrix box office on 01527 577330.
For more information on the production, visit the Bromsgrove Festival website at bromsgrovefestival.co.uk or the company’s website at thefestivalplayers.org.uk.
