IN the same week that Shoe Zone is set to reopen in Bromsgrove, another high street giant has announced it will be returning to the town centre.

The new Shoe Zone store opens in Bromsgrove's High Street this weekend, just four months after the previous store closed on the same street, and Superdrug has now announced it will also be making a come-back.

The Shoe Zone store, which is set to open its doors to customers on Saturday, October 8, will boast the new store brand logo alongside its new autumn/winter range.

Naomi Shefford, marketing director at Shoe Zone, said: "We are thrilled to be opening a fresh new looking store in Bromsgrove. We hope that our Bromsgrove shoppers like what’s on offer and we look forward to welcoming them into our new store."

The new Superdrug store is due to open in the High Street in time for some last minute Christmas shopping on Sunday, December 16.

The previous store, based in the High Street, closed its doors in June 2010, further fuelling shoppers' complaints that the street was becoming a 'ghost town'.

The premises was later taken over by fashion retailer Store Twenty One, which has also closed down.

More details about the new Superdrug store are set to be revealed over the next few weeks.
