CCTV footage has captured the moment a nonchalant thief reversed his car into a green grocers in Rubery and loaded his boot with plants, before calmly driving off.
Staff at The Market Garden on New Road/Beverley Road were left “shocked” when the thief pulled up in a dark car and helped himself to stock worth £150.
Manager Toni Agrimi said: “We have people who take the odd plant and bit of food but to just pull up and take £150 worth – we’ve never had that before. We were all shocked.”
The incident took place at around 2pm on Thursday, May 18.
West Mercia Police confirmed investigations are on-going but no arrests have been made.
