A MAN was stabbed in Longbridge town centre this morning (September 13), leading to the arrests of four people.
The young man reportedly entered the JobCentre Plus in Bristol Road South just after 11am, asking for help.
Officers from West Midlands Police and an ambulance raced to the scene, where the 20-year-old victim was treated by paramedics for stab wounds to his leg.
He was taken to hospital for further treatment and is currently in a stable condition.
West Midlands Police has since confirmed four teenagers have since been arrested on suspicion of wounding and remain in police custody.
A knife has also been recovered.
Officers are now carrying out reassurance patrols in the area and are examining local CCTV footage around Tessall Lane.
