A NEW hand-sculpted Memory Tree has been unveiled in Primrose Hospice’s garden.
The Memory Tree allows people who have experienced the death of a loved one to commemorate their life by placing an inscribed metal leaf on the tree for a donation of £100.
Ray Carver, a Primrose Hospice volunteer who has leaves on the tree for his late wife and daughter-in-law said “I'm so pleased the new Memory Tree is now in the Primrose Hospice garden.
“It is now more accessible, allowing people to visit whenever the hospice is open to spend time remembering their loved one in a calming and welcoming environment.”
The charity says a £100 donation would provide a child with six 1:1 sessions with their family support team.
To dedicate a leaf on the Memory Tree, visit the hospice website to complete the online form: primrosehospice.org/support-us/fundraising/memory-tree/ or phone the hospice Fundraising Office on 01527 889796.
