A BROMSGROVE care home transported the community back to the swinging sixties with a summer festival.
The team at Care UK’s Chandler Court, on Recreation Road, were joined by the community for their swinging Summertime Festival.
Guests put on their dancing shoes and let loose to the timeless rhythms of the era thanks to a special DJ set from the home’s very own DJ Ian.
Betty Daplyn, a resident at Chandler Court, said: “I really enjoyed the festival and seeing all the people and happy faces!”
Tina Lilly, home manager at Chandler Court, said: “We were delighted to welcome the local community to our summer festival to party the afternoon away.
“Our Summertime Festival offered a wonderful opportunity for us to connect with the community and show them what life at Chandler Court is all about.
“We loved getting our dancing shoes on and giving everyone a chance to showcase their best dance moves in true 1960s fashion.”
