An annual masquerade ball has raised thousands of pounds in support of patients with life-limiting illnesses.

Supporters of Primrose Hospice and Family Support Centre gathered together at Norton Golf Club last month for the highly anticipated Primrose Masquerade Ball.

A total of £17,205 was raised on the night which was filled with glitz and glam and included live music from Save the Date and an appearance by BAFTA award-winning comedian Luisa Omielan.

Trusteee and supporter of Primrose Hospice, Mark Duncan, said: “The event was a tremendous success. As a member of the Ball committee myself, it was great to see everyone having a good time in aid of Primrose Hospice.

“The live band and disco that followed allowed guests to have a fun evening at the same time as raising vital funds for the hospice.

“The Primrose Prizes also meant we went home with a special gift. Congratulations to the Primrose team.”

The team has also expressed its thanks to the volunteers, supporters and sponsors of the ball, Back Door Productions, for the incredible support with this year’s event.

The charity relies on fundraising and events like this to keep the services running as it costs Primrose Hospice around £1.95 million to provide care and support for free to those who need them.

The money raised will help the team to provide vital care and support to more patients and families living in North East Worcestershire in 2024.
