A Bromsgrove dementia café is set to reopen at a brand-new venue next week.

Age UK Herefordshire and Worcestershire (H&W) are happy to announce that the popular café will be relocating to Bromsgrove Rugby Football Club on Finstall Road from Wednesday, January 10.

The move will look to take advantage of the excellent facilities offered by the club whilst enabling them to carry on providing a range of engaging activities and themes at each session.

Dementia Services Manager at Age UK H&W, Kelly Reeves, said: "I am thrilled to share the exciting news that our dementia support group is relocating to a new venue in Bromsgrove.

"The upcoming move promises to enhance our group's experience and create a more comfortable and engaging environment for everyone involved."

The dementia café is free to attend and aims to provide support and information for people living with mild to moderate dementia, their carers, friends and family.

The cafes also offer a valuable space for loved ones to unwind, share experiences and connect with fellow caregivers with support from staff.

Ms Reeves added: "I am eagerly anticipating the positive impact this new venue will have on our group dynamics, fostering a sense of community, understanding, and shared strength.

"Together we look forward to creating even more meaningful connections and valuable support networks in our continued journey towards dementia awareness and care.

"The new venue in Bromsgrove opens doors to new opportunities, and I am genuinely excited about the positive changes it will bring to our wonderful group.”

The Bromsgrove Dementia Café will run every second Wednesday of each month from 10.30am until 12.30pm starting on Wednesday, January 10.

New members do not need to book and can just turn up on the day.
