Bromsgrove Rovers 1 Bedworth United 1

A Marlon Walters goal right in injury time saw Bromsgrove gain a valuable point against their fellow strugglers.

Walters latched onto a cross from substitute Stuart Hall following a period of sustained pressure as Rovers searched desperately for an equaliser.

But if it wasn't for goalkeeper Karl Lewis, Rovers would have been dead and buried before Walters' goal.

He made four excellent saves but could not stop Levi Ramsay opening the scoring in the first minute.

Seconds before, Lewis had produced a point bkank save from a header after a corner.

After the opening goal he made a good save from Ramsay and then a double one from the same player and Findlay.

For Rovers in the first half, Cameron Jones hit the post and Nathaniel Waite headed wide when he should have done better.

Rovers included two players on loan from Birmingham City Academy in Nathaniel Caines and Pheon Jolly and they impressed.

Into the second half, on 50 minutes, Waite produced a good save from Bedworth keeper Andrew Kemp as Rovers pressed for an equaliser.

But Jai Stanley almost increasd the lead for Bedworth when he hit the bar from a free kick on 82 minutes.

Lewis again produced another great double save on 86 minutes to keep the score down to one before the late strike.
