YOUNGSTERS from a Bromsgrove school enjoyed being transformed into heroes.
On Monday, (January 14), pupils from Parkside Middle School, in Stourbridge Road, began a new project exploring what makes a hero.
This theme is being looked at in a variety of different subjects, including geography, history, citizenship, art and music.
To mark the start of the project pupils dressed up in costumes of their heroes, both fictional and real life, and gave a presentation on their hero.
The children gave a variety of reasons for them being a hero including being caring, selfless, charitable and inspirational.
Local community heroes were also invited into the school, sharing their stories with the pupils.
