A BROMSGROVE club is celebrating a milestone anniversary this weekend.
Bromsgrove and District Amateur Radio Club is marking 100 years of amateur radio with a special event this Friday to Sunday, October 11, 12 and 13.
Amateur clubs throughout the country have been setting up special event stations and transmitting greetings to other amateurs around the world.
This weekend it is the Bromsgrove club’s turn so it will be representing the West Midlands region by holding a demonstration at the Avoncroft Arts Centre at Stoke Heath Community Hall, Redditch Road.
It will feature a wide range of radios and modes of operation.
