To help people cope with relationship troubles and worries surrounding cancer Relate in Worcestershire work with Macmillan cancer research and provide a free services to anyone in the county affected by the disease and their families or carers.
The charity offers counselling to individuals, couples, families, children and young people, as well as sex therapy - vital services as cancer and it's treatment can impact hugely on types of relationships.
Sarah Moore is the business development and training manager for Relate in Worcestershire and she works with 19 highly skilled and trained counsellors as well as a team of dedicated office staff, committed board of trustees and wonderfully supportive volunteers.
Having had direct personal experience of the valuable support Macmillan is able to offer when a close friend was diagnosed with cervical cancer Ms Moore knows how important the support offered by Macmillan staff can be and is aware of how valuable a part it played along her friends road to recovery.
