AN historian visited youngsters at a Catshill school earlier this month.
Local historian Peter Mobley visited youngsters at Catshill First School and Nursery, in Gibb Lane, on February 11.
He talked to year three and four children from the school about the history of Catshill, and provided an insight into the history of nail-making.
It was part of their topic entitled Urban Pioneers, in which children studied urban art and designed their own Bromsgrove of the future.
Pauline Wainman, who organised the visit, said: "Mr Mobley really enjoyed his visit and was pleased that the children were so attentive and passionate about the history of their own village.
"He said that it really brightened his day.”
