POLICE have launched an investigation after a postman was threatened with a knife in Bromsgrove.

At around 9.15am on Friday, September 16, the postman, who was in uniform, was getting into his personal car, parked in Austin Road near to the Co-op, when he became involved in an argument with two men.

When he tried to drive away along Gilbert Road, one of the men threatened him with a knife.

Thankfully, he was not injured.

One of the men is described as white, between 18 and 20 years old, around 5 ft 8, clean shaven and with short hair. He was wearing a dark baseball cap, jacket, jogging bottoms and trainers.

The other was also white, and was said to be between 18 and 21 years old. He was around 5 ft 8, with short hair and facial stubble. He was also wearing a dark baseball cap, jacket, tracksuit bottoms and trainers.

Several people and cars were in the area at the time of the incident, and police are urging any witnesses to come forward.
