BROMSGROVE Speakers Club tasted national success after one of their members scooped first prize in the Speech Contest.
Luke Evans came first in the Association of Speakers Clubs National Contest at the Gatwick Hilton, which was held from April 21-23.
Fellow speakers club member Peter Worthington was also a finalist in the topics contest.
Mr Worthington said: “Although it’s fun to enter competitions, the real focus of Bromsgrove Speaking Club is enhancing speaking confidence whether that be for your work or to help in everyday life.”
