BROMSGROVE Folk Club’s Summer Showcase welcomes four new acts on Thursday, August 10.
Folk duo The Way Out, from Loughborough, will take to the stage, as will young progressive rock trio from Worcester Solstice.
Birmingham soul singer-songwriter Philippa Zawe is also on the billing, as are local Alvechurch four-piece Serenity to showcase their Eastern European-influenced folk sound.
Chair Bob Bignell said: “All of these acts will be anxious to convince our audiences that they are worthy of a full spot at either the club or festival.”
Admission at the event at Catshill Social Club, Meadow Road, Catshill, is £4 for members and £6 for non-members, with under-25s half-price admission.
