ANOTHER lamb has been found butchered in a field in Romsley, just a week after nine lambs were discovered dead.
The bodies of nine lambs were previously discovered covered in bite marks in a farm off Uffmore Lane at 10.30am of April 10.
The largest was a few months old, greyish brown in colour and has 'LAMBIE' written on its side in green fading.
A further three were injured, with police suspecting the incident was caused by a dog attack.
In the latest incident, a young lamb was reported being slaughtered and butchered in the same field on April 16.
Sergeant David King of Hagley and Rubery Safer Neighbourhood Team said: "We are looking into these incidents are are reminding local farmers to be vigilant.
"If people see anything suspicious they should call us on 101."
Anyone with information should quote incident number 294 S of April 16.
