AN event bringing together former pupils from a Bromsgrove School has been held in Birmingham.
Bromsgrove School, in Worcester Road, held its first Alumni Reception for former pupils working in and around the city, on Wednesday, September 30.
The reception was organised by former pupil Ally Taft, who held the event at the offices of Irwin Mitchell, in Temple Street.
Special guest speaker was former pupil Stewart Towe CBE, now a governor at Bromsgrove School and who was appointed Business in the Community’s Regional Ambassador for the West Midlands between June 2007 and May 2008.
Further alumni events are planned for 2009 and 2010, the next being the inaugural lecture being held in London, with guest speaker former pupil Sir David Arculus who is now an advisor to the government.
