STAFF from a Kidderminster vets practice will be lacing up their running shoes to raise money for a cancer charity.
Team Vale Vets are taking part in the Race for Life event, which is being held at Worcester Race Course on Sunday, May 31 from 10am.
Twenty members of staff will run or walk the 5K race with the aim of raising much needed funds for Cancer Research UK.
Lisa Langford, Director of Vale Vets, said: “We have all been touched by cancer at some point in our lives either personally or involving our family, friends, clients and of course our beloved pets.
“We will race for those we have loved and lost, for those who have fought the battle and won and for those who continue to fight the fight.”
The team has set up a JustGiving page which can be accessed by clicking here.
People can also make donations at both their surgeries in Birmingham Road, Kidderminster and Areley Kings in Stourport.
