SUMMER boredom can become a thing of the past as new sessions are up and running at Dudley Leisure Centre to suit both sporty and artistic youngsters.
Throughout the summer holidays the Wellington Road centre is hosting football and basketball sessions for children aged between eight and 14.
Kids can shoot hoops between 1pm and 3pm on Mondays and practice their football skills between 10am until 12noon on Mondays and Fridays.
Those that prefer a more relaxing end to the week can take part in arts and crafts class on Fridays from 1pm to 3pm.
Sessions cost £5 and there is no need to prebook.
Councillor Rachel Harris, cabinet member for health and wellbeing, said: “There is a full, fun packed program running across the leisure centres to keep children of all ages entertained this summer, no matter what the weather.”
