CHILDREN and staff at Sidemoor Preschool will be joining schools and community groups across the district on Friday for the World's Biggest Coffee Morning fundraiser.

Pupils at the Pear Tree Children's Centre in Broad Street have been busy designing invites to send to parents, and will also be helping to make cakes to sell.

As well as raising vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, the event will offer new and potential students and their families the chance to find out more about the school.

Manager Toni Cooke said: "The purpose of the event is for the parents to meet the new staff team who started at the preschool at the beginning of September, and to see some of the new areas in the nursery garden which have been improved during the summer.

"Any new parents who are looking for nursery places for children two years and over are welcome to come along and see what the nursery has to offer."

The coffee morning will be held from 9am to 12pm. For more information, contact the preschool on 01527 870828.
