A 28-YEAR-OLD Chipping Campden man has been banned from driving and ordered to do unpaid work after getting behind the wheel of his Ford Fiesta while under the influence of drugs.
Robert Jeal of Barrels Pitch, Aston Road, Chipping Campden admitted driving with more than the specified limit of benzoylecgonine - a metabolite of cocaine - in his blood, when he appeared before Cheltenham magistrates.
Jeal was stopped by police on the B4081 Campden Road between Mickleton and Chipping Campden on July 25.
He was banned from driving for three years and ordered to do 40 hours of unpaid work.
Jeal was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85.
