A PEDESTRIAN has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car on the Martley Road in Lower Broadheath shortly before 2.20pm this afternoon.
The pedestrian, a woman thought to be in her 20s, was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital with facial injuries but was said to be conscious and breathing.
She had been hit by a Vauxhall being driven by a woman, who was seen by paramedics at the scene.
The B4204 near Worcester, was closed in both directions between Worcester and Lower Broadheath and the accident happened near Broadheath Foods and Bell Lane.
