MATCHBOROUGH'S annual planting by the pond has been going strong for more than 10 years and shows no signs of stopping.
For the last 12 years children from Noah's Ark Nursery, Matchborough First School and Arrow Vale Academy have helped plant daffodil bulbs.
Children from Noah's Ark recently joined Councillor Juliet Brunner planting the spring bulbs.
The aim is not only to rejuvenate the pond but also give youngsters a sense of community.
Cllr Brunner said: "I'm delighted that once again Noah's Ark Nursery are helping to plant spring bulbs.
"I also must thank Matchborough First School and Arrow Vale Academy for also helping make the community look lovely - I can hardly wait for next spring."
