THE club AGM took place on April 10 at the Southcrest Manor Hotel when president Penny, after a very successful year, handed the chain of office to incoming president Gail.
Gail outlined her plans for the coming year which will emphasis Programme Action and its legs of Education Empowerment and Enable.
She will continue to support the Worcester Breast Cancer Unit project which we have supported for some years now and contributed £7,650 to from various fundraising projects.
Gail revealed plans to host a charity auction and dinner in November at Hagley Hall by kind permission of Lord and Lady Cobham.
The club will also continue to support the Birthing in the Gambia project and other more local projects.
Soroptimist International is a service club for women from business and the professions.
We meet on the second Thursday of the month at the Southcrest Manor Hotel in Redditch.
Prospective new members are very welcome.
