TOP of the table Bromsgrove will be told to make sure they get the basics right ahead of their home contest with Lutterworth this Saturday in Midlands One West.
Head coach Dan Protherough is convinced there is room for improvement despite his side's excellent start to the season and said: "We will focus on doing the basics well in training this week.
"Against Dudley Kingswinford, we were far too focused on stopping them scoring rather than scoring ourselves. We have to be quicker when we're on the front foot and I thought we were far too sluggish when going forward."
Although pleased with Bromsgrove's start to the campaign, Protherough pointed out: "We were in good nick before the season even started. We finished last season with a win over Lydney and the fact we managed to keep most people suggested we should start the season quite well.
"We all strive to do better and it was disappointing that we've dropped a couple of bonus points. but it's been a great start and something we need to build upon".
Hooker James Gunter remains a major doubt to face Lutterworth with an ankle injury but winger Ollie Bache should be available.
