STRIKER Nathan Lamey has dropped a hint that he would like to stay at Bromsgrove Rovers on a permanent basis.
The former fans’ favourite came back to the Victoria Ground last week on a short-term deal from Rushall Olympic.
Rovers struck an arrangement with Rushall that Lamey would turn out for a couple of games to get back to match fitness following a calf injury.
But in an exclusive video interview with Advertiser sports editor Dan Harrison, the forward hinted that he would like to extend his stay.
Speaking after Saturday’s 3-3 draw at Sutton Coldfield, he said: “Obviously I need to speak to the Rushall manager to see if he wants me to stay on or come back.
“We’ll see how things go but I love being here and being involved.”
