FIGHTERS from Elements Gym in Rubery have had a very successful time recently.
At the Spartan Grappling Challenge in Bristol they scooped a gold, silver and five bronze medals.
Instructor Chris Garry got the gold in the advanced U68 kilogrammes category.
Garry had also won a fight the week before at the Bilston Central Banqueting and Conference suite, an event which featured fighters from all over the Midlands.
He beat Rob Bunford from Wales with a submission to extend his pro record to six wins and one defeat.
And 17-year-old Luke Crichton from Bromsgrove impressed in the fight of the night, winning on points against Matt Williams from the Extreme club to extend his record to two wins and no losses.
The club recently hosted fighters who took part in the UFC 138 event in Birmingham.
And on Saturday, Dave Hill from Elements defends his British Featherweight MMA title against UFC veteran Dave Lee.
