Wilkes treble sinks Crabmill

VICTORIA Barnt Green fired seven past Crabmill Monchengladbach in the Bromsgrove and District League Premier Division on Sunday.

Dan Wilkes bagged a hat-trick and Shan May (2), Matt Collins and Sam Smith all scored.

Meanwhile, Studley United made it nine wins in a row with a 2-1 win over AFC Dons thanks to goals for Ben Briggs and Ben Gidley scoring.

It was honours even as Washford Lions Reserves were held 1-1 at home by Winyates Wanderers. Sam Ward opened for the visitors on the stroke of half-time when his persistence was rewarded but Paul Nolan equalised after 55 minutes, when he clinically stroked home a free-kick from deep.

South Redditch are now in touching distance of the top of Division One after their 4-1 win over JMC United.
