DROITWICH Spa veterans won at Evesham 6-1 on a wind and rain-swept evening.
Nick Bates opened the scoring early with a scuffed reverse stick strike, beating the keeper at the near post.
He extended their lead with a finish from close range.
Evesham pulled one back as Spa’s keeper was beaten by a well-placed shot.
But Adam James scored on his return from illness, before Craig Smith rounded off the scoring in the first half with an assured finish In the second half, James bagged a second and Evesham conceded an own goal.
