Shrewsbury 37, Droitwich 0
DROITICH were knocked out of the National Cup on Saturday to the hands of a good Shrewsbury team. Spa paid the price for a very slow start and were trailing 22-0 within the first 20 minutes.
The Glynn Mitchell Memorial Stadium side did well to come back into the game but silly errors and poor decision making allowed Shrewsbury to run in more tries.
Good performances came from Dan Wilkinson and Luke Topping on what was a very poor day for the young inexperienced Spa side.
They are now able to concentrate on their efforts in the Midlands Division Two West (South) and end their three-game losing run in the league.
Droitwich will hope to get back to winning ways when they travel to fellow strugglers Leamington on Saturday (3pm kick off).
