SOUTH Bromsgrove enjoyed a brilliant football season have savoured a brilliant football season.
Three out of four teams reached the Worcestershire Schools County Cup finals at Bromsgrove Sporting's Victoria Ground home, with the Year-9s and sixth form team taking the titles.
The Year-9s defeated Haybridge High School 5-3 on penalties after a tense encounter.
The Year-11s were edged out 2-1 by Stourport High School, despite a dominant second half display.
Finally, the sixth form team, who had also reached the last 32 of the ESDA National Cup, got the better of Bewdley High School 3-1.
Director of football Dave Bayliss said: “To reach three County Cup finals is an amazing achievement, and a credit to the lads and their respective managers, Matt Weston and Rob Law.
"To win two of the three finals means that we have had a very successful cup campaign, and something that the school is rightly proud of."
