Worcester Warriors
7 Pennell – not a faultless display from the full-back but finished off a frustrating campaign with a well-taken try.
8 Heem – showed his attacking prowess with a superb try as he brushed off tackles to score after pouncing on Tait’s fumble.
8 Olivier – close to agreeing a new deal with Warriors the Springbok produced a barnstorming performance, making good lines and was rewarded with a try.
6 Te’o – in his last showing before heading off with the British and Irish Lions the centre had a quiet afternoon although did play a key role in Warriors’ opening try.
7 Humphreys – did a fine job in attack and defence as he made many probing runs and scampered back brilliantly to deny Smith a try late on.
5 Mills – landed two long-range penalties and a touchline conversion but his kicking out of hand was poor and gifted Leicester territory.
6 Hougaard – put in some thumping tackles and tried to make things happen but Leicester did well to contain the livewire scrum-half.
5 Bower – replacing the suspended Val Rapava Ruskin the loosehead struggled against a power-packed Tigers side who had the edge in the set-piece.
6 Taufete’e – a constant threat with ball in hand but saw four of his throws stolen at the line-out before making way for Singleton on 55 minutes.
6 Milasonivich – came up against hot prospect Genge and found life difficult at times with Warriors often getting penalised at the scrum.
7 O’Callaghan – was part of a dysfunctional line-out but the Ireland legend led by example on the field as he defended resiliently.
6 Spencer – did not make much of an impact and was notably stopped in his tracks by former Warriors player Mike Williams in a huge collision.
7 Dowson – making his 262nd and final appearance in the top flight the flanker gave his all and received a standing ovation when he left the field.
8 Potgieter – another player Gold will be keen to sign up for next season as the experienced back rower was all over the park making tackles and driving forward.
8 MAMA – made a couple of surging runs from deep late on to get Warriors’ fans off their feet and kept pounding away at Tigers’ defence. My man of the match.
