HERE is all you need to know as Bromsgrove goes to the polls today for the local elections.
All 31 seats on Bromsgrove District Council are up for grabs this year.
The district comprises of 30 wards, with Belbroughton and Romsley having two seats on the council.
The council, which has been Conservative-led since 1999, is currently made up of 18 Conservative councillors, three Labour councillors, six Independent councillors, three Liberal Democrat councillors and one Wythall Residents Association.
A total of 16 seats are needed for a majority.
This year residents must have an accepted form of ID to vote.
Accepted forms of ID include a UK, European Economic Area (EEA), or Commonwealth passport or drivers’ licence, some concessionary travel passes such as an older person’s bus pass or an Oyster 60+ card.
